Future of the Zehlendorf forest settlement: On the way to the UNESCO World Heritage!

Waldsiedlung Zehlendorf, Deutschland - On Tuesday evening, an information event for the UNESCO nomination of the Zehlendorf forest settlement took place. Moderated by Nicola Halder-Hass from Bricks & Beyond, the event began at 6 p.m. with greets by Pastor Seehaus and Dr. Christoph Rauhut, the director of the Berlin State Monuments. In the course of the event, a team of experts, consisting of Sabine Ambrosius and Claudia Grünberg, presented the status of the UNESCO nomination process and the management plan, while the stakeholder group of the forest settlement was also presented in detail.

The visitors also received an insight into the planned activities for the forest settlement and the settlements of modernity in 2024. A dialogue about opportunities for participation and important appointments completed the informative session. The event ended with an open discussion and social gathering, which offered the guests the opportunity to ask questions in a relaxed atmosphere and to exchange ideas. Further information on this procedure is in an article on www.berlin.de available.
