Christmas joys without money: discover 5 free events in Berlin!

Christmas in Berlin will also be a festival full of free experiences this year! After the exhausting presents of gifts, the city is back with a number of free events that promise fun and joy. According to B.Z. there are numerous events on the program that are ideal for large and small celebrations. For example, on December 24th at 3 p.m., a special nativity play will be performed in the Hahnenberg nature conservation station. Children and adolescents bring the biblical Christmas story to life in the sheepfold. On the same day, at 4 p.m., the Berliners can get together at the Christmas concert at the Schöneberg town hall and sing together - with the traditional final song "Silent Night, Holy Night". The Grunewald also becomes the scene of an unusual event on the second Christmas day: the goose roast digestion run begins at the Mommsen Stadium at 10 a.m.

scrap gnights - the slightly different gift

Another highlight in the run -up to Christmas is the popular scrap gnome. This original tradition, which fits perfectly with the contemplative holidays, provides for unpopular objects and memorabilia to be given away. As Focus reports, creative and bizarre gifts make the participants smile. From old records to dusty board games to funny cups, everything is allowed - the main thing is that things have no value for the gift. It is about finding a new purpose for the objects and at the same time to provide a lot of fun. At Schrottwichtel-Bowling in Café Morena on December 26th at 7 p.m., guests can demonstrate their throwing skills on the Wii and win a unique scrap gift.

In this festive time, Berlin not only offers the opportunity to traditionally celebrate the Christmas days, but also to ensure variety and joy with new events. Whether running, singing, singing or scrap gnacks - the city has something to offer for every taste!
