Prominent support in mulled wine and cake sales are available from actress Lea van Acken and Raphaël Vogt, the two will surely heat the festive mood.

The Christmas in the animal shelter also offers a variety of activities, including the opportunity to experience baking stick bread around the campfire. In addition, the organizers have responded to great demand and offer four tours of the shelter this year, which give visitors exciting insights behind the scenes. The physical well -being is provided with a large selection of delicious dishes and drinks that will taste the visitors and their animal companions. The Evangelical parish of Hohenschönhausen Nord is also there by giving pastor Nana Dorn a Christmas speech and giving a special blessing for humans and animals.

The animal shelter invites everyone to participate and to consider the necessary information about the journey, since only limited parking spaces are available. Visitors are recommended to use public transport or take the shuttle bus from the Ahrensfelde S-Bahn station or from the Steglitz underground station. Admission is of course free of charge, and all revenues of the day benefit the animals in the shelter.
