In court: man attacks the police dog and attacks officials despite the ban on space
The 25-year-old Zoltan K., who is accused of committing an assault on enforcement officers, is in front of the district court. The incident occurred in June last year when K. came to a Belgian German Shepherd, although the police had already warned him several times to leave the animal alone.
The officials then gave the accused a dismissal, but K. ignored it and again approached the police with raised fists. To his defense, he said that the dog put his paws on his shoulders, which was not a problem for him. When a policeman then stretched out his arm, he had been kept in boxing out of self -defense. He rejected the accusation of trying to bite an official, and emphasized that he only wanted to strike, did not bite.
The accused already has a criminal record and is currently serving a ten -month prison sentence. Further procedures are currently underway against him, among other things because of an attack in a supermarket. There he is said to have hit an employee on his head with a bottle, which he denies. The process continues on Wednesday.
It remains to be seen how the court assess the case and whether the accused is held responsible for his actions.
