Diversity without an alternative: Parity overall association calls for the CSD Berlin on July 27th
CSD Berlin: Diversity and equality in focus
The Christopher Street Day (CSD) Berlin, one of the most important protest events for queer rights in Europe, is in the sign of resistance to legal threats this year.
The increasing presence of right -wing extremists demands a clear positioning for diversity and equality. The parity overall association therefore calls on the motto "No place for hate" to participate in the CSD Berlin on July 27th. Together with numerous member organizations, the association sets a sign against discrimination and hostility.
The Berlin AIDS-Hilfe, the youth network LambdaPramilia, Zik-at home in Kiez gGmbH, Tandem BTL gGmbH, the Berlin Cosmopolitan School Kindergarten & Preschool and the Björn Schulz Foundation are among the participants who are represented with their own car.
The CSD parade starts at 12:00 p.m. in Berlin-Mitte and ends at the Brandenburg Gate. All people who work for diversity and equality are welcome to join the foot group of the parity. RiSchas are ready to enable people to participate in mobility.
The CSD Berlin is not only a feast of diversity, but also a memory of the long struggle for the same rights of lesbians, gays, bisexual, transgender, intersexual and queer. It is an opportunity to show solidarity and to stand up for an open and tolerant society.
Information about the event is available at https://csd-berlin.de. Join and set a sign of diversity and equality!
