Traffic information: A73 Schleusingen junction closed due to roadway renewal
Current traffic information for the A73
The A73 motorway in Thuringia is currently affected by important traffic information. The Schleusingen junction in the direction of Nuremberg is expected to be closed until August 23, 2024. The reason for this is the lane renewal.
In order to let the traffic flow, a reduction in demand has been set up. The travel traffic is led via the U52 demand transmission in the basic network to the Eisfeld-Nord junction, from where it can drive up to the A73. The departing vehicles are again dispatched at the Suhl-Friedberg junction and led to the Schleusingen junction via the U50.
It is important to consider the redirect recommendations and to find out in good time in order to avoid delays and traffic jams. The roadway renovation is necessary to ensure the safety and quality of the highway.

The current construction work on the A73 and the associated blocking of the Schleusingen junction affects regional traffic. In order to ensure smooth mobility, a carefully planned detour was set up. This measure also shows the continuous effort of Autobahn GmbH of the federal government to keep the infrastructure on a modern level and to offer road users a safe driving environment.
