Traffic chaos on A10: Two rear -end collisions provide traffic jams without injuries!
On Friday afternoon, there were massive traffic disruptions on the A10 at Ferch due to two rear -end collisions at the same time. The first incident, which occurred around 11:50 a.m., affected four vehicles, including three fully occupied small vans of a shuttle service. A total of 20 people were involved, but luckily there were no injuries. The cars had stood in the direction of Berlin between the Potsdam motorway triangle and the Ferch junction.
The fire brigade was called to the scene of the accident to carry out clean -up work, which temporarily led to a full closure of the four -lane route. This caused a massive backlog that reached beyond the triangle of Potsdam and went back to the Glindow junction on the A10 towards Berlin. Before that, at 11:46 a.m., there had been another rear -end collision between Ferch and Michendorf - here too, everyone was unharmed. The accident vehicles were pushed onto the hard shoulder, where the police carried out the investigation. More information is here available.
