Telekom strikes and brings a breath of fresh air to the mobile phone supply of the district of Oberspreewald-Lausitz! A new LTE location was installed in just two months, which can be imagined as a leap in performance in the mobile data world! Gone are the times of the mew reception in the area - now the citizens surf with a completely new speed!
"The need for bandwidth is constantly increasing - every year by a whopping 30 percent! That's why we accelerate properly when expanding mobile phone," explains Georg von Wagner, the company spokesman for Deutsche Telekom. The words leave no doubt: Telekom is determined to reach the top in the race for the best network connections!

Thanks to the new location in Lübbenau/Spreewald, not only will the reception in the houses continue to improve, but also the coverage along the A13 and A15 motorways as well as the important Brandenburg-Süd railway line! Users can look forward to lightning -fast internet and relieved communication - and all of this in a cycling radius, where the signal frequently broke off beforehand.
Telekom has already built 59 mobile phone locations in the district, which ensure an impressive budget coverage of almost 100 percent. But that is only the beginning: Telekom plans to add another 35 stations by 2026, and the upgrade on LTE or 5G is even on seven existing radio masts!

But Telekom cannot conjure up! It is dependent on cooperation with municipalities and private property owners to rent suitable areas for the new locations. The German radio tower is responsible for the construction of the Telekom mobile phone locations and ensures that the network coverage in the country continues to grow!
At the moment, Telekom operates over 36,000 mobile phone locations throughout Germany and wants to add around 1,500 new ones annually.
