In the week of October 14th, the construction -preparing measures for the final section of the monument -friendly restoration of the Treptower Park start. The work focuses on the southern part of the park, especially south of the Puschkinallee. The focus is on building construction as well as clearing and planting work. The tendering process is currently underway, as the district office Treptow-Köpenick announced.

As part of the comprehensive measures, 36 trees are cleared and 103 new trees are planted at the same time. In addition, around 40,000 square meters of new lawns are being built. 50 new benches and 40 waste containers are installed for the recovery of the park visitors. The entire construction period extends until 2026, while maintaining the plants will continue until 2028.
