In der Woche vom 10. bis 14. Juni 2024 werden im Bezirk Oberschöneweide aus Gründen der Verkehrssicherheit mehrere Bäume gefällt. Dies betrifft unter anderem einen abgestorbenen Baum an der Schule Treskowallee sowie eine Birke im Volkspark Wuhlheide. Die Maßnahme dient dem Schutz von Passanten und Verkehrsteilnehmern vor möglichen Gefahren durch umstürzende Bäume.
