Road safety: Trees in Oberschöneweide must be felled
In the week from June 10th to 14th, 2024, several trees are felled in the Oberschöneweide district for reasons of traffic safety. This applies, among other things, a dead tree at the Treskowallee school and a birch in the Volkspark Wuhlheide. The measure serves to protect passers -by and road users from possible dangers from falling trees.
Failing trees for security reasons is a necessary measure to avoid accidents and damage. Regular checks and care measures can be identified and eliminated at an early stage. It is ensured that the biodiversity and the ecological balance are preserved.
