Invitation to the summer festival at the Köpenick Central Library on Saturday, August 24, 2024
The Köpenick focus library cordially invites all interested parties to a varied summer festival on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The festival takes place on the old market 2 in 12555 Berlin and promises a diverse program for young and old.
Under the patronage of Marco Brauchmann, the district councilor for further training, school, culture and sport, visitors can expect an open day with numerous highlights. In addition to readings for children and live music, there are workshops, artistry, a fairy tale meter, as well as a marionet theater.
The event starts at 10:00 a.m. and offers visitors a colorful program that will last until 6:00 p.m. Special attractions include the Marionettent Theater with the performance "Adventure of the Grass root" and at 2:00 p.m. the impressive magic show with the talented sorceress ChriTatur. The day is accompanied by Matthias Wiesenhütter, who plays live on his guitar at 11:00 a.m.
For the youngest guests there is the opportunity to get make -up and become creatively becoming tinkering. Artistic performances of "Contraire" are amazed, while a book workshop with the topic "Transfer: From the caterpillar to the butterfly" stimulates the imagination. Visitors can also browse on the media junk and fortify themselves on a potato buffer car.
The entire festival takes place outdoors in the immediate vicinity of the library and admission is free for all visitors. The funding is carried out via the BESD cultural support program - district artistic and cultural projects in urban space, as part of the Outdoor City initiative of the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion.
