City cycles 2024: Berlin sets a sign of climate protection

The City Cycling campaign starts in the next round in Berlin - from May 30th to June 19, 2024, all Berliners are invited to cover as many ways as possible by bike. Every cycled kilometer counts and attractive profits for the participants wave. Treptow-Köpenick also participates in the campaign and thus sets a sign of climate protection and a livable Berlin.

Companies, clubs, administrations, (high) schools and teams from friends, neighbors or family can participate. Simply register and join the #Offen district team Treptow-Köpenick. Team captain Jana Herschelmann, climate protection officer for the district, is looking forward to new team records.

The kilometers collected can be tracked on the city cycling app during the action period or entered on the website. The campaign is organized in Berlin by the Senate Department for Mobility, Transport, Climate Protection and the Environment and supported by the ADFC Berlin e.V. The climate alliance, the largest municipal network to protect the world climate, is the overall coordinator of the international action.
