On October 9, 2024, the starting signal for the "Round Table Care" will be given in Treptow-Köpenick. This innovative concept, initiated by the district councilor for social issues, health, work and participation Carolin Weingart, aims to implement the nationwide care structure planning at the district level. Not only the outpatient and medical care is brought into focus, but also a comprehensive consideration of the nursing adhesive is also sought.

Under the coat of an integrated concept of action, employees of the district office, local actors from the nursing sector, the network life in the neighborhood (LIK) and those affected work together on solutions for the current challenges.

The central goal is the development of a practice -oriented concept of action for the district, which includes specific measures and starting points. The process will be accompanied by a kick-off event on October 9, 2024 and a follow-up event on November 22, 2024, which should serve as the basis for future cooperation within the district.

In order to get further information and actively participate in the process, interested parties can contact the quality development planning and coordination office for health or the network in the Kiez (LIK). The entire project will be supported and evaluated by the Senate Department for Science, Health and Care by the end of 2024.
