Premiere: Free Kiez tour through Wilhelminenhofstrasse on April 6th
On April 6th, the Kiez tour Wilhelminenhofstrasse will take place for the first time, which is organized by the Schöneweide industrial salon. This premiere offers the participants a fascinating insight into the history of the most famous street in the Oberschöneweide district. The tour leads along different stations such as the villa of the Baulöwen Lehmann from 1894, the Königsplatz, the old brewery in the back yard, the former cinema, the old quota jug and the legendary pub "Stuffe corner".
The guides will present interesting facts, bizarre and unheard of about the houses and their inhabitants from over 100 years. The tour thus offers an ideal addition to the standard tour "Electropolis" and enables an exciting journey into the past of the district.
The tour starts at 2 p.m. at the industrial salon at Reinbeckstraße 10 and is part of the event series "Ab into B", which enriches the district of Treptow-Köpenick with varied events. The special thing about the prime tour is that it is free and thus offers all interested citizens the opportunity to discover the fascinating history of Wilhelminenhofstrasse.
