Opening times of the Treptow-Köpenick museums on the May holidays

The district councilor for further training, school, culture and sport, Marco Brauchmann, informed about the opening times of the Treptow-Köpenick museums during the May holidays. All four locations-the Köpenick Museum, the Treptow Museum, the Köpenick Memorial and the Hauptmann exhibition at the Joseph Schmidt Music School-will be open at certain times. On May 1, May 9 and May 20, 2024, visitors can visit the museums from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. In addition, the Hauptmann exhibition at the Joseph Schmidt Music School will also be open on May 10, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Treptow-Köpenick museums offer insights into the local history and culture of the district. The Museum Köpenick, very close to the well -known Köpenick Castle, presents exhibitions on the history of the city of Köpenick. The Treptow Museum is dedicated to the history of the Treptow district and the development of the region. The Köpenicker Blood Week memorial is reminiscent of the tragic events during National Socialist rule. The Hauptmann exhibition at the Joseph Schmidt Music School illuminates the life and work of the well-known writer and poet Hauptmann von Köpenick.
