New game pleasure in the suburb of Kölln: Iglu and Calisthenics facility

Great news from the Köllnian suburb! On the popular children's playground near Ottomar-Geschke-Straße, a spectacular "Iglu" will soon be created as a new highlight for the little adventurers! The exciting playground now gets the modern play equipment that replaces the old climbing combination "Vulkan", which was no longer suitable for the little climbing artists. The new "Iglu" will offer the children the opportunity to climb, balance and even move - a fantastic addition to every playground!

The innovative structure of the "Iglus" is designed in such a way that it creates an exciting environment in which the little ones can let off steam and improve their motor skills. Everything is encouraged here - from physical development to balance to coordination. And the best? Only the affected sand surface must be closed during the installation in October and November 2024 - the rest of the playground remains open, so that the children do not have to do without their fun even during the construction work!

But that's not all! Even the young people and adults are not neglected in the Köllnian suburb. A brand new Calisthenics facility is installed on the dragon meadow on Ottomar-Geschke-Straße that will inspire outdoor athletes! Calisthenics, training with your own body weight, has developed into a real trend - and this new system will be perfect for both beginners and advanced. There are bars, ladders and benches here to get fit together!

Safety also proceeds here: A special fall protection area from fall protection sand is integrated into the system to cushion falls and protect users. The installation of the fitness equipment begins in the week of September 30, 2024 and the work will probably be completed by the beginning of December 2024, depending on the weather. For this area too, only the respective area is secured with a construction fence, so that all sports enthusiasts can soon be active!
