Daniela Dröscher will read passages from her novel "Lies about my mother", who deals with the subject of the body weight of a mother and the associated family dynamics. Daniela Dröscher, born in 1977 in Rhineland-Palatinate and based in Berlin, is known for her prose, essays and theater texts. It has already been awarded renowned prizes such as the Anna-Segher's Prize, the labor scholarship of the German Literature Fund and the Robert-Gerthardt Prize. The reading therefore promises a literary examination of a current social topic that is presented by the author in a sensitive way.
