Der Bezirksstadtrat Marco Brauchmann hat angekündigt, dass vom 26. August bis 1. September 2024 ein Künstler-Symposium in der Wuhlheide im Bezirk Treptow-Köpenick von Berlin stattfinden wird. Das Symposium wird bis zu fünf Künstlerinnen und Künstlern die Möglichkeit bieten, sich mit dem Thema Kunst im öffentlichen Raum auseinanderzusetzen, wobei der Fokus auf der Wuhlheide als künstlerisch und gesellschaftspolitisch geprägtem Naturraum liegt. Die Wuhlheide ist ein bedeutender Ort in Berlin, der seit den 1950er Jahren durch das Konzertprogramm der Freilichtbühne und später durch Aktivitäten im Bereich Naturschutz und Umweltbildung bekannt wurde. Artist symposium in the Wuhlheide: Applications by June 28, 2024

The district councilor Marco Brauchmann has announced that from August 26 to September 1, 2024, an artist symposium in the Wuhlheide will take place in the Treptow-Köpenick district. The symposium will offer up to five artists the opportunity to deal with the topic of art in public space, whereby the focus on the Wuhlheide lies as artistic and socio -political natural space.

The artist symposium aims to promote the exchange between professional artists, to advance artistic examination of the place and topic and to involve the public in the process.

applications from artists will be accepted by June 28, 2024, 12:00 p.m. Interested parties can send their applications to jana.lawinski@ba-tk.berlin.de. The Berlin district Treptow-Köpenick therefore offers a unique opportunity for artists to deal with public space and to present their creative ideas.
