Ceramic sculptures and drawings by Maria Luise Faber in Berlin
From April 19 to June 20, 2024, visitors can experience the fascinating exhibition “In Motion” by Maria Luise Faber in the Grünstraße Gallery in Berlin. The exhibition presents ceramic sculptures and drawings by the artist, who contrast a variety of workpieces from different creative periods in order to show the diversity and mobility of their work.
Maria Luise Faber, who completed a pottery training in Lausitz and studied sculpture in Dresden and Berlin, has been a freelance artist in Berlin since 1994. Her versatility and creative mobility are reflected in her works, since it never commits a certain material, technology or a topic. This enables her to constantly explore new ways and to give art constant dynamics.
Visitors to the exhibition can admire technically-looking sculptural constructions in addition to objects of floral branches, rhythmic relief structures and Engobe drawings. Drawings and collages are also presented on historical cladding, forms and old documents that illustrate the overlaps of different time sequences and represent a movement through time.
The exhibition "In Motion" by Maria Luise Faber offers those interested in art a unique opportunity to discover the diversity and mobility of the artist and immerse themselves in the fascinating world of their works.
