International Women's Day celebration in Berlin: Dates and highlights
On March 2, 2024, the Akademie Rapsodia Berlin e.V. invites you to celebrate on the occasion of the International Women's Day in the Baergarten in Berlin. A children's program will be offered from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. On March 6, 2024, the neighborhood consultation hour #Feminist combat day of Rabenhaus e.V. takes place on the Mandrellaplatz, in which the team of mobile district work would like to start talking to visitors. On March 7, 2024, a reading with Aissatou Friedrich on the subject of violence on women and girls will take place in the Kiezklub Allende. Interested parties can hear from their book "Invisible - we show face" and get into conversation with her. Free tours on the subject of “women in forced labor” will be offered on March 6 and March 9, 2024 in the NS forced labor. Here the challenges and scope of action by women are discussed in the Nazi compulsory work. In addition, on March 8, 2024, the information campaign "Why feminist fighting day?" Online and through print flyers to educate about the World Women's Day. The events offer an insight into the different facets of International Women's Day and enable a critical exchange about feminist topics.
