HTW Berlin organizes 'Spree Talk' on the subject of energy and climate protection

The district office Treptow-Köpenick has published a press release from the HTW Berlin, which draws attention to an upcoming event entitled "Spree Talk". In this context, the importance of energy is emphasized as a key resource and one of the greatest challenges of our future. The event will be open to everyone and admission is free, but a prior registration is requested by April 15th.

The HTW Berlin itself faces the challenge of reducing your CO2 footprint. Prof. Dr. Friedrich Sick will talk about technical possibilities for heat supply on the Wilhelminenhof campus at the "Spree Talk". Jana Herschelmann, climate protection officer of the Treptow-Köpenick district, will provide information about the current measures of the district in relation to climate protection.

The event will also welcome experts from the practice. Dr.-Ing. Gitta Vischer from the Gasag Group and David Weiblein from the E.ON subsidiary BTB Berlin will give an insight into their sustainability projects in the area of ​​energy supply. There will also be the opportunity to contribute opinion contributions from the audience, and the moderation is made by Prof. Dr. Stefanie Molthagen-Schnöring, the Vice President of Research, Transfer and Science Communication of HTW Berlin.
