Historical walk through Altglienicke: Discover the past!
On October 26, 2024, Altglienicke became the scene of a very special event: A historical-political walk attracts all history and political lovers to the streets of this Berlin district! The meeting point is at 2:00 p.m. in front of the QM Kosmosviertel on the Schönefeld Chaussee 237. An unforgettable experience is waiting!
The start of the neighborhood management, followed by a winding path to the oldest cemetery Altglienickes. During the tour, the participants will not only discover sights, but also get to know exciting stories and backgrounds to the eventful past of this district. The route leads past the mysterious spy tunnel, which still raises many questions. Finally, the Altglienicke Museum is waiting for the participants with interesting exhibits!with experts through history
speakers of the Altglienicke Citizens' Association will give short, concise lectures at selected stops. The participants get valuable insights into the most important historical locations and their importance for the region. The walk, which will take about two hours, is free for everyone - an absolute highlight for all those interested in history!
Please note that the event is not barrier -free. It is an opportunity to experience history up close - but only for those who are good on foot!
