Am Internationalen Kindertag am 1. Juni veranstaltet das FEZ erneut ein großes Fest, wie Bezirksstadtrat Marco Brauchmann für Weiterbildung, Schule, Kultur und Sport bekannt gegeben hat. Ein Highlight des Festes wird Henri, der Bücherbus der Stadtbibliothek Treptow-Köpenick, sein, der den Besuchern die Welt der Bücher näherbringen wird. Neben dem Angebot des Bücherbusses können die Kinder an verschiedenen Outdoor-Spielen teilnehmen, beim Bücher-Bingo mitmachen und sogar an einem offenen Illustrationsworkshop teilnehmen. The day goes back to 1950 when the world conference decided to introduce children to the well -being of children. June 1st was selected to remember the suffering of the children in World War II and to put the needs of the children in the foreground.
