On Saturday, October 11, 2025, a neighborhood tour through Rahnsdorf will take place, organized by district mayor Oliver Igel and the Soziale PflegeKasse (SPK). Between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., anyone interested is invited to discover local commitment and share their memories. Under the motto “Show your neighborhood,” the tour starts at the entrance to the village church in the old fishing village.

The route leads through the cemetery on Fürstenwalder Allee, where participants gain insights into the local history before walking through the town center of Rahnsdorf with its monuments and memorial plaques. Thematic focuses of the tour include historical events such as the Napoleon campaign, the Bread Rebellion and the area around the mill flow.
