Citizen participation: Citizens' meeting to the Kiezkasse Altstadt on April 16, 2024
On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, the Joseph-Schmidt Music School in Berlin will take place. The district office Treptow-Köpenick provides funds for the neighborhoods in all district regions to promote projects that strengthen the cohesion in the neighborhood, support neighborhoods or beautify the living environment. This can be self-help and neighborhood projects, planting campaigns, hope, neighborhood festivals, street parties, lecture events or material for citizen information.
For the Altstadt / Kietz district region, € 2,600 are available this year, the use of which the citizens and interested actors can decide. Ideally, project ideas should be submitted via the nationwide participation platform Mein.berlin.de of the State of Berlin. If this is not possible, ideas can also be submitted by email or by post or presented directly in the citizens' meeting.
The Kiezkassen are an important part of the citizen participation in Berlin and enable residents to actively participate in the design of their neighborhood. The citizens' meeting offers a platform for the exchange of ideas and the common decision -making about the use of the Kiezkassenvergätz.
interested citizens and actors in the Altstadt / Kietz district region are cordially invited to take part in the citizens' meeting and bring in their proposals. The neighborhood sponsors Johannes Rackow and Sven Dohnalek are available to answer any questions at Kiezkasse-altadt@ba-tk.berlin.de. Further information on the Kiezkassen and contact options can be found on the website of the Treptow-Köpenick district office under the keyword Kiezkassen.
