The district office informs about a communication by the Berlin city cleaning (BSR), which announces the changes to the garbage disposal dates due to the Easter holidays. Households, whose regular collection date is March 29 (Good Friday), must be prepared for the fact that their waste containers will not be emptied until March 30. Even in the week from April 1 to 5, 2024, the empties take place a day later than usual. After these days, the removal dates return to normal.

Furthermore, the BSR points out that recycling courtyards remain closed during the holidays. The mechanical treatment plants in Gradestrasse and the Ruhleben garbage heating unit are also closed on the holidays for self -deliveries of bulky waste and residual waste.
