10 years of benefit: Students are committed to animal welfare and solidarity!

On October 15, 2024, the 10th benefit run of the Anna-Segher School will take place in Adlershof. From 8:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., the students will run around the community school with high school to collect donations for various charitable purposes. This annual event has developed into a significant tradition that not only serves the social commitment of the students, but also puts important topics such as animal protection and educational projects into the spotlight.

As in previous years, the donations collected are distributed according to a clear pattern. A third of the income benefits people who rely on a solidarity community. Another third is reserved for the protection of animals, while the remaining funds are used to finance school projects that are donated by the school representative. This not only gives the students the opportunity to actively help, but also learn to take responsibility for the community.

The selection of the supported organizations reflects the values ​​of the association. These organizations are intensively committed to the needs of people with disabilities and for animal welfare. This ensures that the donations are used in a targeted manner and that the corresponding initiatives can be promoted sustainably.

Anyone who wants to support the commitment of the students is cordially invited to participate. Both financial contributions and a personal presence on site are welcome. The benefit run offers a great opportunity to work together for a good cause and motivate the young generation to work for social justice and environmental protection.

The district office Treptow-Köpenick has expressly emphasized this initiative of the association and supports the efforts to promote both school projects and social and ecological concerns in the region.
