Traber professional Jochen Holzschuh was very lucky in misfortune while driving to Berlin. The brakes of his van suddenly failed on the Autobahn 2 shortly behind Hanover. This led to a highly dangerous Situation for wooden shoes and the other drivers on the street. But the experienced Traber professional kept his nerves and managed to switch to the park between the cars and let the van roll out. He describes the situation as from an action film.

After the incident, the vehicle and the horse were brought to a workshop. Fortunately, the mare survived the shock well and was patient during the repair of the van. The trip to Berlin, which usually takes five hours, extended to almost eleven hours due to the incident. Nevertheless, Jochen Holzschuh made it in time for the mare derby lead in Mariendorf at the weekend and was even able to win the victory in his discipline.
