Teresa Dapp becomes the new managing director of the dpa-infocom. Jirka Albig remains managing director.

The dpa-infocom, a 100 percent daughter of the German Press Agency (dpa), gets a new double-top tip. Teresa Dapp will lead the work of the digital subsidiary together with the previous managing director Jirka Albig. Dapp, who has headed the DPA-Infocom factory team since 2021, takes over the position of Peter Kropsch, the CEO of the dpa, who had temporarily adopted the management of the dpa-infocom.

Teresa Dapp started her career at the dpa as a volunteer in 2012 and worked in various positions, including as a correspondent in London and as a Federal Correspondent in Berlin. Their focuses were in the areas of climate, environment, traffic and digital. Since 2021 she has been the editor-in-chief and product manager fact check at DPA-Infocom.

Jirka Albig started his career at the dpa in 1997 as a volunteer. After stations in the online editorial team and in sales, he moved to the DPA-Infocom in 2016 and has been managing director since 2022.
