Civil courage training is a form of training that aims to enable people to act in a socially responsible and courageous manner if they are confronted with situations of injustice or danger.

In Berlin, civil courage training is offered that teaches participants, as they can intervene in situations in which someone is bullied, harassed, discriminated or threatened. The training is managed by freelance trainer Rainer Lenz and includes topics such as violence, role -playing games, options for action, legal and psychological factors as well as self -protection techniques.

The event is offered as part of the funding program "Cleanliness and security in large settlements" by the Senate Department for Urban Development, Building and Housing. District City Councilor Eva Majewski emphasizes the importance of training in view of the increasingly emerging anti -Semitism and the irritated mood in society.
