VHS Tempelhof-Schöneberg: courses for seniors and all age groups

The Volkshochschule (VHS) Tempelhof-Schöneberg offers a wide range of courses for all ages, including special courses for older people. These courses are aimed at the needs of older people and include topics such as dealing with modern technology, improving German language skills and much more.

The courses for dealing with smartphones, tablets, computers and the Internet will take place in the old malt shop in Lichtenrade and at Barbarossaplatz in Schöneberg this semester. Some courses such as "Fit on the Windows Laptop - Set up and use of your own laptop" and "smartphone/tablet for senior citizens - The first steps" still have free places.

Another course, "Talk to each other - speak in everyday life," aims especially at older immigrants who want to improve their knowledge of German. This course starts on February 16, 2024 in the intercultural house in Schöneberg.

The entire course program of the VHS Tempelhof-Schöneberg is available on your website, where an online registration is also possible around the clock. Alternatively, interested parties can use personal registration in Schöneberg or in Lichtenrade.

It can be seen how the VHS creates a connection between the generations with their diverse offer and makes education accessible to older people. Dealing with modern technology and improving German skills are important skills that older people can actively and mentally fit.
