Rainbow campaign: Creativity and diversity in the district - invitation to the colorful community participation

A rainbow for the Berlin Pride Month

The Berlin Pride Month is just around the corner and this year he is celebrated with a special campaign. Under the direction of district councilor Dr. Saskia Ellenbeck is designed a unique rainbow bench to symbolize the diversity and tolerance of the queer community.

In this creative action, the wooden strips of a park bench are unscrewed by a tape artist and decorated by all participants with rainbow tape. Everyone can participate, and children are also cordially invited to develop their creativity. As soon as a bar is finished, it will be attached to the bank again.

The campaign should not only celebrate the colorful variety of the queer community, but also set an example of tolerance and acceptance. It is about showing that diversity is an important part of the identity of the district and that everyone can help build an inclusive society.

The rainbow bank is a symbolic work of art that emphasizes the beauty of the diversity and the importance of solidarity. It is a way to show together that we are all part of a diverse and open society in which everyone is welcome.
