New traffic -calmed area in Mariendorf opens on September 30th
In Mariendorf, a new traffic -calmed area was recently opened to improve the security and quality of life in this district. The Monopolstrasse and parts of the Finkenweg and Schwalbenweg were redesigned on an area of over 3,000 square meters. Pedestrians are now allowed to use the entire road, while vehicles are only allowed to drive step speed and can only park in the marked areas.

By reducing traffic and the introduction of walking speed, the risk of accidents is significantly reduced.
