Neighborhood Center Bornhagenweg: Inauguration on September 10th celebrate!
A new place of encounter: Neighborhood Center Bornhagenweg opened
On September 10, the Bornhagenweg neighborhood center in Berlin was ceremoniously opened, an important step for the community in the district. This center represents an important contribution to social cohesion in the region and offers a variety of opportunities for residents.
The opening was supported by various actors from politics and local administration, including the district councilor Eva Majewski . She emphasized the importance of the center and called on the citizens to use the new premises and actively participate: “Feel free to come and look! On September 10th we can inaugurate the new rooms!”
The neighborhood center is a joint project that was created under the successful cooperation of several institutions. The Senate Department for Urban Development, Building and Living has provided essential means through the "Social Cohesion" program to promote the establishment and equipment of the center. At the same time, the Senate Department for Labor, Social Affairs, Equality, Integration, Diversity and Anti -Discrimination supports the center in personal terms.
Another important partner in this project is the DeGewo , which provides the required space. The center is operated by the Pestalozzi-Fröbel-Haus , which not only functions as a carrier, but is also responsible for the implementation of varied programs to promote neighborly exchange. This cooperation is viewed as a valuable enrichment for the Hochhariyastraße district management, which is now richer with new premises and a stable partner.
The event at the opening offered the opportunity to exchange ideas with those responsible and other interested parties. The Bornhagenweg neighborhood center not only becomes a place of encounter, but also a linchpin for future community activities. The importance of such an institution should not be underestimated, because it strengthens social cohesion and promotes coexistence in the neighborhood.
