International football tournament: Young people from 14 partner cities play and celebrate in Berlin

Der Bezirksbürgermeister Jörn Oltmann hatte erstmalig Mädchen- und Jungenteams aus den 14 Partnerstädten des Bezirks Tempelhof-Schöneberg zu einem internationalen Fußballturnier eingeladen. Mehr als 200 Jugendliche aus Städten wie Ahlen, Amstelveen, Bad Kreuznach, Barnet, Koszalin, Levallois-Perret und weiteren trafen sich auf dem Dominicus-Sportplatz im Priesterweg, um Fußball zu spielen, Freundschaften zu schließen und die Verbindungen zwischen den Partnerstädten zu vertiefen. Das zweitägige Turnier war ein großer Erfolg und wurde von einem begeisternden Fest zwischen den Turniertagen abgerundet. The district mayor Jörn Oltmann had first invited girls and young teams from the 14 partner cities of the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district to an international football tournament. More than 200 young people from cities such as Ahlen, Amstelveen, Bad Kreuznach, Barnet, Koszalin, Levallois-Perret and others met on the Dominicus sports field in the Priesterweg to play football, friendship and deepen the connections between the partner cities.

The two -day tournament was a great success and was rounded off by an exciting festival between the tournament days. In addition to the young people, official representatives of the partner cities and sports tour teams were also present to strengthen the cooperation.
