Green Buddy Award 2024: Start of application for sustainable innovations

The Faircado UG has created an innovative way with its newly developed browser plugin to support environmentally conscious purchase decisions in online shopping. By integrating environmentally friendly and affordable options into the purchase process, consumers should be encouraged to make more sustainable decisions. This technology was recently awarded the Green Buddy Award 2023 in the "Waste Avoidance / Reduce, Reuse and Recycle" category.

Lea Plörer from Faircado is happy about the winning of the award and emphasizes the importance of this award for the GreenTech startup. The award helped to reflect on the work so far and to win new inspiration for future projects.

Now the district office Tempelhof-Schöneberg is calling for the 13th time to apply for the Green Buddy Award 2024. Innovative ideas and future -oriented projects that drive ecology and sustainability can be submitted by April 15, 2024. The various categories of the award include "retail", "smart cities solutions" and "renewable energies".

The winners of the Green Buddy Award 2024 will be chosen on June 6, 2024 in the metropoly and, in addition to an individually designed Buddy Bear, also receive prize money of 2,000 euros.
