Commitment to equality and prevention of violence: Apply for and network funding now!

As a citizen of Berlin, I inform you about an event by the state working group of the EU representatives of the Berlin districts and the contact point Cerv Germany. According to a press release from Berlin.de, the event is concerned with the Cerv program, which promotes projects of civil society, municipalities and other actors who work for equality, non-discrimination, violence prevention and civic engagement. Over a period of seven years, over 1.5 billion euros in funding is available across Europe. The event offers an overview of the main topics of the program and includes Breakout session, in which the calls from the areas of "equality, civic engagement and violence prevention" are presented. The participants also have the opportunity to network and develop joint projects. Registration takes place via the website of the contact point Cerv.

According to a report by Berlin.de, the event takes place on the specified day and follows a fixed program. From 1:50 p.m., the participants can enter the digital space. The greeting begins at 2:00 p.m. and afterwards there is a general overview of the Cerv program. From 2:45 p.m., the participants will be divided into small groups and have the choice between the areas of "equality and violence prevention" and "citizen participation and participation". At 3:20 p.m. there is the opportunity to ask open questions, to continue networking and to shape the joint conclusion. The event ends at 3:30 p.m.

As a Berlin citizen, I welcome this initiative because it supports local organizations and actors who work for important social concerns. The funding can help to implement projects in Berlin that promote equality, violence prevention and civic engagement. It is encouraging to see that the EU and local authorities work together to improve the quality of life in our city. I encourage all interested citizens to register for the event via the contact point for the event and to use the opportunity to network and cooperate. Together we can achieve positive changes in Berlin.
