The annual district festival in Marienfelde brings a colorful mix of activities and offers for the whole family again this year. Under the motto "Peace" and the inspiring call "Every thread counts! Weaving together for diversity and peace", an extensive program is offered to actively participate.
A special highlight is the XXL site, where young and old together with colorful want to create a work of art. This not only promotes creativity, but also the sense of community of the residents. The importance of peace is also underlined by hands-on actions, such as tinkering (peace) pigeons. Numerous games and movement offers are available to visitors to spend an active day.

At the market stalls along the Domagkstrasse, numerous local actors present themselves who invite you to participate with their offers. There is a running card in particular for the children that can be stamped at the various stations. At the end of the course you can expect a delicious ice cream as a reward - a little joy after an eventful day.
Another interesting offer is the possibility of letting your own bike coded at the police stand, which contributes to the safety of the owner. There is also a mobile bicycle workshop that turns old bike parts into new things in a creative way-a model for sustainability and upcycling. For the adventurous, the climbing-friendly tower is ready to climb new heights, while the Karaoke bus stage invites you to demonstrate the vocal talents in front of an audience.
The physical well -being of the guests is also taken care of: whether coffee and cake, warm and cold dishes or sausages from the grill - the selection is rich and varied. Standing tables and seating invite you to take a break, to talk to each other and to enjoy the hustle and bustle.
The whole range of talents is presented on the festive stage, with various dance and music performances that make the afternoon varied. This year the festival will be supplemented by a flea market on the site of the adjacent daycare center, where bargain hunters can get their money's worth.
The district festival is organized by the Life association in Marienfelde (L.I.MA. e.V.), who has been taking care of the concerns and the community of residents for years. With such a living and inviting event, not only the cohesion in the neighborhood is strengthened, but also the special character of Marienfelde.
