Clowns festival in the John-Locke settlement: fun for the whole family

A spectacle takes place under the sparkling sky of the John Locke settlement that makes the hearts of all clown lovers beat faster! The clown festival offers an extravagant mix of humorous shows, lively performances and creative workshops that put the art of clowning in a new light.

Here is very important laughter! On the first day of the festival, everything starts with a captivating opening show in which the visitors have the opportunity to experience a wide variety of clowns with their unique characters and styles. The stage becomes the scene of exciting short appearances that not only invite you to laugh but also amazed. With a mixture of slapstick and acrobatic insoles, the artists let the audience immerse themselves in a colorful world full of wit and charm.

The little visitors in particular get their money's worth in the afternoon! In a special children's workshop you can become clowns yourself and practice your first tricks. Who knows, maybe one or the other will discover the talent to the great artist! The day finds its crowning conclusion in a fantastic final performance that revives the brilliant moments of the day again.

But that's not all! On the second day of the festival, the spectators can expect a very special experience: interactive shows in which the audience is in the middle of the action. Here both children and adults can participate and explore the exciting world of the clowning in a humorous way. There is a special workshop for adults in which the basic techniques of the clown game are brought closer. This day also leads to a big final performance - a festival of talents!

This fantastic clown festival is carried out as part of a theater project, which is supported by the funding program "Strengthening Berlin major settlements". The aim of this program is to promote cultural participation in the large settlements of Berlin and to strengthen social cohesion. The residents of the John Locke settlement have the opportunity to take part in a unique cultural event that was specially launched for them.
