Cross -district qualification project 'Logo! Europe 2023 'successfully completed - experiences and conclusions from the hospitations in Europe

according to a press release from www.berlin.de Cross -district qualification project “Logo! Europe 2023” successfully completed. The project was coordinated by Tempelhof-Schöneberg and aimed to give a view outside the box and to promote the professional and linguistic training of the employees.

As part of "Logo! Europe 2023", a total of 54 specialists from the Berlin districts in European administrations. The partner cities of the districts and Berlin took care of the employees for a mostly four -week period. This exchange was a profit for both sides.

The district of Tempelhof-Schöneberg sent eight employees to different administrations. Two colleagues attended Vienna (new school building and tourism), a colleague in Dublin (health and social work) and a colleague in the music schools of the partner cities Charenton-Le-Pont and Levallois-Perret. Another colleague visited libraries in the Netherlands to collect inspiration for the libraries in the district.

District Mayor Jörn Oltmann received three project participants and found out about their experiences and conclusions from the hospitations. In Glasgow it was about safe cycling, in Beyoglu about occupational safety and personnel service and in Malmö for digitization.

District Mayor Jörn Oltmann emphasized the importance of the project and emphasized that it was an important way to exchange ideas and learn from each other with other administrations. In addition, prejudices are broken down and the understanding of each other is developed.

The “Logo! Europe” project will continue in 2024.
