Berlin is looking forward to two new parking zones-St. Joseph Hospital (Zone 90) and Manfred-von -richthofen-Straße (Zone 91)-which are expected to open in summer 2024!
according to a report by www.berlin.de Tempelhof-Schöneberg is expected to go into operation in the summer of 2024. These are the parking zones of St. Joseph Hospital (Zone 90) and Manfred-von -richthofen-Straße (Zone 91). These two zones will join the four zones already opened this year in Schöneberg, so that the entire inner city area of the district will be adopted.
The introduction of the new parking zones has an impact on the residents and the district traders. Due to parking management, the affected zones will lead to limited availability of parking spaces. Residents have to expect restrictions on the search for parking space and should find out more about the regulations and exceptions relevant to them.
Also traders have to adapt to possible adjustments. Visitors who arrive by car may have difficulty finding a parking space near their shops. It could therefore be worthwhile to consider alternative parking facilities such as parking garages or public transport.
The parking space management is to better control the efforts of the district, the volume of traffic and the search for parking space in heavily frequented districts. The aim is to distribute the public space more fairly and to achieve better use of the existing parking spaces. Especially in inner -city areas in which the demand for parking spaces is high and availability is limited, parking management can help improve the situation.
All resident and traders will be informed in detail in the run -up to the introduction of the new parking zones. It is important that all those affected find out about the applicable regulations and possible exceptions in order to avoid unwanted consequences such as increased parking fees or fines.
