Registration for courses in the second educational path started
The Volkshochschule (VHS) Tempelhof-Schöneberg now offers the opportunity to catch up on school qualifications in the second educational path. At the Schöneberg college, people can take another step on the way to professional development by gaining the Abitur long after leaving the school. The courses last between two and three and a half years, depending on personal requirements. Furthermore, the school qualifications can be acquired vocational training maturity (BBR), expanded vocational training maturity (EBBR) and medium school leaving certificate (MSA) in the Schöneberger Linse campus. This offer is aimed primarily at adult migrants whose degrees are not recognized in Germany or who have never acquired a school leaving certificate, but are now striving for a degree and vocational training or qualification. Interested parties have the opportunity to register for both facilities.
The possibility of catching up on school qualifications in the second way of education is an important step towards equal opportunities and professional development, especially for people who had no opportunity for various reasons to acquire a school leaving certificate. Migrants who have not received their conclusion in Germany now have the opportunity to close their educational gaps through the Volkshochschule Tempelhof-Schöneberg and open up new perspectives.
