Telekom contradicts Höcke: False advertising statement - legal steps checked

Deutsche Telekom denies the claim of the AfD politician Björn Höcke in relation to an alleged earlier advertising slogan of the company and examines legal steps. During a TV duel, Höcke claimed that Telekom used the sentence "Everything for Germany" as an advertising saying a few years ago. A company spokesman rejected this claim as wrong and announced legal steps.

The sentence mentioned is a forbidden solution of the SA, the paramilitary fighting organization of the NSDAP. Due to the use of this slogan in a speech, Höcke will be charged with the accusation of the use of indicators of anti -constitutional organizations next week in a speech.

Telekom had already taken legal steps against AfD federal spokeswoman Alice Weidel last year, after she also claimed that the group had used the sentence in question as a logan slogan. After requesting the company, Weidel agreed to refrain from this claim in the future.

Höcke defended his choice of words during the TV duel and stated that the saying used was a SA slogan. He described the sentence as a "common saying". Telekom vehemently denies this claim and is against the spread of false information.
