Telekom contradicts Höcke: everything for Germany was not a slogan

Deutsche Telekom has vigorously denied that it ever used the slogan "everything for Germany" as an advertising saying, as claimed by the AfD politician Björn Höcke. A Telekom spokesman said that this statement was wrong and that the company checked legal steps. The controversial sentence is a forbidden solution to the NSDAP organization Sturmdabtung (SA) and was used by Höcke in a speech. Because of this, he must be responsible for the accusation of using the license plate.

Telekom had already taken legal steps against AfD federal spokeswoman Alice Weidel last year after making similar claims about the advertising slogan. The AfD politician was asked to refrain from this statements and promised to follow this in the future. Höcke defended his choice of words in the TV duel with the CDU politician Mario Voigt and claimed that he did not know that the controversial sentence was a SA slogan. He described it as a "common saying".

However, Telekom emphasized that the claims of Höcke and Weidel regarding the use of the slogan are wrong as the company's advertising saying. In the coming week, Höcke will have to answer in court for accusation of using anti -constitutional license plates. Telekom defines itself against these false representations and reserves the right to take legal action.
