Telekom countered Höcke's false claim

Deutsche Telekom rejects an assertion by the AfD politician Björn Höcke that in the past it has used the slogan "Everything for Germany" as an advertising saying and examines legal steps. A company spokesman described the statement as wrong and announced legal steps. This slogan was part of the forbidden solution of the SA, the paramilitary organization of the NSDAP, and is considered a license plate of an anti -constitutional organization. Björn Höcke must therefore answer in court.

In addition, Telekom took legal action against AfD federal spokeswoman Alice Weidel last year after making similar claims regarding the advertising logan. Ms. Weidel was asked to refrain from these statements, which she has guaranteed. The company thus reacted consistently to prevent such unfounded claims and protect its reputation.

As part of a TV duel, Höcke justified his use of the controversial slogan and said that at the time of the speech, he did not know that it was a SA slogan. He described the saying as a "common saying". However, Telekom emphasizes its clear distancing of such historically stressed slogans and emphasizes the importance of the correct classification of such statements, especially in public discourse.
