Telekom denies everything for Germany: contradiction to Höcke statement

Deutsche Telekom has vigorously reacted to the assertion of the AfD politician Björn Höcke regarding a earlier advertising slogan of the company and is examining legal steps. Höcke, who acts as an AfD top candidate for the state election in Thuringia, claimed in a TV duel against the CDU politician Mario Voigt that Telekom used the slogan "Everything for Germany" a few years ago. A company spokesman rejected this claim and described it as wrong.

The sentence "Everything for Germany" in question proved to be a forbidden solution of the SA, the paramilitary unity of the NSDAP. Due to the use of this slogan in a speech, Höcke is to answer for the allegation of using indicators for the accusation of indicators of constitutional organizations next week. Telekom had already taken legal action against AfD Federal Proterer Alice Weidel last year, after she also wrongly claimed that Telekom had used the said slogan in the past as an advertising saying.

Höcke defended his choice of words during the speech with the argument that he did not know that it was a SA slogan. He described the sentence as an everyday saying. Telekom reacted decisively against these false accusations and signaled that it would act against the spread of misleading claims.
