Collective agreements in Lausitz: IGBCE urgently calls for more perspectives

alarm mood in Lausitz: more collective agreements required!

Something exciting happens in Lusatia! The IGBCE future union is passionate about strengthening the influence of collective agreements. As part of the DGB campaign "#TATRIFWENDE: now!" the companies in the region were targeted in order to draw attention to the decisive role of collective agreements for the workers and the companies. The message is clear: Without the protection of collective agreements, it will be difficult to secure specialists and improve working conditions.

However, reality looks dark: The number of companies that join collective agreements has decreased steadily in recent years. That has to change! The DGB campaign mobilizes the forces of the union and draws attention to the urgent need to reverse this threatening development.

actions in full swing!

A very special Highlight was the "Fritten Mobile", which has been traveling to various companies in Lausitz in the past few weeks. With delicious food and a loud message, it was pointed out in the middle of the action to the directories! Holiday mood at the Leag power plant in Jänschwalde, where there is not only a well -organized collective agreement, but also an attention program that provided the membership!

But the clocks tick: the coal phase -out and the planned shutdown of the lignite power generation until 2028 throw dark shadows. "" We have to do everything in our power to get these excellent tariff structures-they are not set in stone! " Such union secretary Anis Ben-Rhouma.

The struggle for the future!

Maik Rolle, the works council chairman of Jänschwalde, warns: "Without targeted measures, we have to fear the structure and location! An important tender has failed and there is a lack of the necessary infrastructure!

But that's not the only construction site. At the GMB Glass Manufaktur Brandenburg, also in Tschernitz, there is a huge collective bargaining. "We are well positioned here and ready for negotiation", confirms the union secretary Vivian Madeja confidently. It is also time that Stölzle Lausitz does her job and finally goes to the talks with the union!

Teely grit the teeth, because Stölzle has so far refused negotiations with unexplained reasons. The pressure is growing, because the "tariff change" is in full swing - action is required!

In addition, the DGB campaign looks at the upcoming elections in Brandenburg and the Urgenz to support unions in parliaments. Because only with a strong voice can participate and a fair policy be ensured. "We call on all members to choose democratic parties!" it sounds from the ranks of the IGBCE Lausitz!
