Open day in the focus library: a festival for the whole family

on August 24, 2024, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., the Köpenick focus library opens its doors for a special day that celebrates the magic of reading and the joy in culture. The Alten Markt 2 in Berlin will become a focus for families and cultural prospective customers on this day.

The summer festival offers a wealth of activities that address both children and adults. A highlight will be the Zille Marionettentheater at 12:00 p.m., which inspires with the play "Adventure of the grass root". At 2:00 p.m., the magician ChriTischra presents her spectacular magic show. But Matthias Wiesenhütter's live music, which begins at 11:00 a.m., also promises a musical experience with handmade sounds.

Entry to these events is free of charge, which increases accessibility for all visitor. In addition to the main program points, the storyteller Kerstin Otto will also kidnap the audience into another world with the program "Märchentenen open - adventure show themselves" at 1:30 p.m. Other activities such as make -up, tinkering for children, artistics with "contraire" and a book workshop about the transformation from the caterpillar to butterfly offer additional opportunities for creative development.
