Increasing insurance obligation: What does that mean for consumers?
Without a doubt: A storm attracts over German health insurance! The proposal of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs to raise the annual wage limit in 2025 to a proud 73,800 euros causes a sensation. What initially acts like an incentive could quickly become a colored reality for millions of employees!
"End competition in health insurance! Strengthen the freedom of choice of consumers!" Because this drastic increase in the compulsory insurance limit threatens freedom of choice. It is time to ring the alarm bells and realize that we are on the way to "employee citizens' insurance"!
What does that mean for the insured?
The planned increase in the compulsory insurance limit is not just a number - it is the key to an insurance struggle! A functioning competition between statutory health insurance (GKV) and private health insurance (PKV) is the heart of our health system. But this competition will be undermined! Millions of employees may see themselves forced to stay in the SHI, while the PKV could be a better choice for many.
The development is also shocking: the distances between the limit values grow. The difference to the contribution ceiling, which is currently 66,150 euros, will soon be over 7,650 euros! Where's justice? Politicians already set decisive course in 2002 when it separated the two borders from each other and from then on the compulsory insurance limit increased disproportionately. That was the beginning of increasing inequality!an urgent appeal to politics!
Time is pushing! The politicians have to finally act in order to bring the compulsory insurance limit back to a meaningful level. Healthy competition not only leads to better service for the insured, but also ensures the financial stability of the entire health system. In times of demographic change, privately insured persons make a decisive contribution to supporting the system sustainably and all insured persons benefit from it!
The voices for returning to equality and fairness are louder. The future of German health insurance is at stake - only a watchful community and committed decision -makers can master this challenge!
in Berlin now it says: waking up before it's too late!
