ZDK Vice President Thomas Peckruhn, spokesman for the factory trade in Germany, explains: “The growth in new car registrations are still driven by petrol engines and diesel vehicles. The uncertainty and skepticism with regard to e-mobility are therefore a majority of conventional vehicles. will be available next year.
The market for used cars easily recovered in June. With around 528,000 vehicle transmissions, the number was 1.5 % below the previous year's value. In the first half of the year, however, around 3.265 million used car changed hands, which corresponds to an increase of 8.6 % compared to the same period last year.
The development of the new registrations of electric cars remains declining, while conventional internal combustion engines are still in demand. The uncertainty of consumers and the lack of inexpensive electric vehicles on the market are still obstacles to the breakthrough of e-mobility. It remains to be seen whether the Situation improves in the coming year.
